Armchair Talking Head

This is part of a series of posts in which your humble, soon to graduate blogger will wax poetic on the things that make Tuscaloosa and The University great.

This one is pretty self-explanatory.  In fact, it’s not really Tuscaloosa specific, but rather a college thing.

I start my weekends on Thursday.  Friday classes are often brushed aside, and if attended are not given full attention thanks to my desire to imbibe the night before.  Whether it’s throwing a few back at the pool, having a pitcher at the Tooth (RIP), or Thursday night football at Willhagan’s, it’s a tradition for myself, my friends, and most all college students.

The inability to drink on Thursday will be yet another reason the “real world” is going to suck.
